I graduated from Rockhurst University, KC, in December of 2011 (with a Sports Science/Physical Therapy degree). I also graduated with a Masters of Science from the University of Jyvaskyla.  I have babysitting experience with a variety of children. I took care of the kids of my Junior College volleyball coach for a few months in 2007-2008 ( 3 kids - 5,6, and 7 years old). The youngest, a boy, was an extremely active child; he loved running and playing outdoors, and I enjoyed that as well. The two older children, two girls, were more quiet and calm; they loved reading, coloring, and drawing, and also interacting with people. I engaged in these activities with the girls. I was helping my friend with her two children, primarily in the evenings and on the weekends. The children are of ages 3 and 7. The little 3-year-old girl is an active, social child, always looking to play with people and Read more to make new friends. She also likes to color and play princess games. The 7-year-old boy enjoys playing outdoors; he is really into taekwondo, and he also likes to read. I spend time with the kids outdoors, and we also read books together. I also have NYC experience with taking care of kids with different age groups. In Astoria, Queens I took care of a 3-month-old baby for occasional night and also 2 years old girl also for occasional night. I worked a part-time job on Upper East Side with 2-year-old Roman and 5-year-old Marissa. Responsibility included taking Roman to different classes: music classes, piano lessons, and gymnastics.In the afternoon I picked Marrissa from school to take her home and prepare food and then go outside and play. I also worked a weekend job for one family on Upper East Side for 2 and 5 years old. The responsibility included reading, playing chess, and sports games. , I have teaching experience with nursery through grade three at Avenues The World School. Activities during this time included art, sport, cooking, dramatic play, group games, outdoor play, and homework help. The teacher is responsible for assisting with on-site, day to day operations. The job included the ability to maintain order during the busy programs, multitask and problem solve. I was also hired as a tutor for the organization name Bell Curves. My responsibility was to teach students math and English skills. Additionally, help students with homework.
