I am a dance teacher/choreographer. I have worked with dancers from 2 to 18 in both small and large classes, some for many years. I don't just teach technique; I teach determination, hard work, and passion. I graduated magna cum laude from Goucher College with a BA in Dance and Biology, a rigorous load that I tackled while teaching dance at a local studio and working as a babysitter. I have worked with children as a Girl Scout leader, tutor, summer camp counselor, mentor, and many years in church ministries. I was a member of the Moving Classroom Project, integrating arts and academics in Baltimore city schools. In New York, I introduced the children of the Hudson Guild (Chelsea projects) to a connection between dance and literacy, by through a production of Sleeping Beauty. I also taught underprivileged youth at the Salvation Army.

We LOVE Megan! Any sitter who can get my picky 4 year old to eat all of his food is worth her weight in gold. Megan smart and reliable which I love but also fun and warm and caring which my little guy loves. I would highly recommend Megan as a sitter.
