Hello, parents! My name is Kara, and I just graduated with my Master's in Social Work from Columbia University this May. In the years prior to graduate school, I worked as an early childhood educator teaching 2 and 3 year olds at The Brownstone School on the Upper West Side in Manhattan and at The JCC in Washington D.C. I earned my Bachelors' degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in human development and family studies, which is a multidisciplinary degree with a heavy emphasis on child development. I enjoy providing creative, fun and educational activities for the children in my care and try to take advantage of opportunities that promote positive development and help children make sense of their world.
