I originally started as a toddler teachers aid. After four months I was able to work my way up to be a infant teacher. As an infant teacher my duties are to log how much an infant has eaten of solid food if they are able to eat that, milk or breast milk, how long they take naps for, and log in when they had to be changed. On top of being a infant lead teacher I have to make sure that the environment that the infants and toddlers play in is clean, safe and healthy (able to clean your house as well!!). The program I currently work in is set in a home environment. Which means that the kids eat, sleep, and play in a house setting. I take turns making meals in the kitchen with the other staff.
