Hey parents, As you can see my name is Lauren Higgins. I am originally from Bozeman, Montana and I received two degrees in Biology and Spanish at SMU in Dallas. I plan on becoming a therapist for domestic violence and SA survivors in a couple years, but right now I conduct research on medical devices Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. My experience with children started when I was 11 years old. I took a babysitting course offered at my local hospital so that I could nanny for a family friend all summer. It was so much fun and I have enjoyed caring for children ever since. In addition to babysitting for many families over the years, I also worked with children for my job at Entertaining Montana in high school. My position in this company was to play Disney princesses at children's parties where I sang, made twisty balloons, face painted and much more. It was the best job I had ever had and really drove my passion for working with kids. Additionally, throughout college I was a sitter on an app in Dallas where I had a five star rating as given by the parents I sat for. As mentioned previously, I have a 9-5 work from home job during the week. I am available to sit kids outside of that, or if you have an infant I can work during my 9-5. My name is Samantha, My childcare experience includes almost 20 years of babysitting for children from newborns to teens, full time nannying, vacation nannying and babysitting, 2 years as a pre-k assistant teacher working with 4 and 5 yr olds, 2+ years of daycare experience working with primarily the young infants, 4 weeks to 1 year, and experience as a nanny with up to 3 children. I have experience with twins and larger families, and physical and mental disabilities.
