Hi! My name is Stella and I'm currently a student at Goucher College. I've been working with kids since I was 15, and have always enjoyed interacting with them. Whether it's homework help, board games, group and individual activities, enforcing routines, or handling a meltdown, I'm child-centered in my approach and do my best to make sure the children I care for understand that I respect and value them. I love playing pretend, dance parties, and storytelling, although I have sworn off slime-making (for understandable reasons), and I have a repertoire of circle games and silly songs to engage all ages (though middle schoolers tend to be too cool for those). I have several certifications from New York State (I will send those on request) as well as references.
