Hi! My name is Laurie, I am turning 22 years old this June and the youngest of six children. Being around children, as well as caring for them has not just been a job for me, but a passion from a very young age. I am graduating this May with my bachelors in General/Special Education (grades 1-6) as well as my Birth-2 certification. I have babysat/taught/nannied for children since I was old enough to do so, that being about 6 years. I have experience in caring for children from birth to 9 years old, I am also CPR certified. This past year, I have student taught in a 2nd grade classroom. Being in that environment has taught me patience, dedication, communication and many other skills that I will carry throughout any job I encounter. I have had countless and varied opportunities working with a diverse population of children, and I Read more am thankful for every one I have been given. Growing up playing sports, singing, learning, and simply enjoying life helped me create the background I need to keep children active and excited throughout all adventures.
