Im a 30 year old mother of two girls, ages 10 and 8. For the past 9 years Ive been working with the Balchi family in Long Island New York. Caring for their 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter. The Balchi children are almost mine. I don't know how else to describe my relationship to them. Ive grown to love these children as if they are my own. While supporting the Balchi parents in becoming better parents themselves. Im also a NICU mom who had to experience the demand of having a premature child of my own My daughters and I have become a part of the Balchi family. We've shared holidays, summer vacations, graduations, birthday parties and much more. For the past 5 years I've been sitting for the Lennox family in Woodlawn. They have two boys ages 3 and 5 who i look after on Read more the weekends. 10 years ago i was trained in Cpr Montifiore Medical Center Albert Einstien Hospital in the Bronx. I enjoy children very much Im possessed with a passion for them. They are innocent and should be cherished and groomed to become the best citizens of tomorrow. I hope for all children what I hope for my own. I respect them yes they are younger and at time people don't respect children because of their age and size. I do because I believe that is how to teach them respect by also respecting them. My references are available. I will be losing employment as of March 7 2014 due to the fact that The Balchi's will be relocating to another state.
