Hello! My name is Catherine and I am from St. Louis, MO, but I will be living in New York City this summer as I go to school here! I am a current Junior (graduating in May of 2019) at Fordham University, and I am majoring in English literature with a double minor in French Language and Marketing. I currently work at Fordham's Public Safety office, and I belong to multiple clubs on campus, including tutoring for low-income middle school kids at a local high school, as well as writing for our school's newspaper, The Fordham Ram. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old (for about 7-8 years) for children of all different age groups, including infants to toddlers to older kids, and I absolutely love it. I have babysat for many different families, including neighbors, family friends, my own younger siblings, and my own nieces and Read more nephews, and I have experience with all different kinds of needs such as learning disabilities, food allergies, anxieties, etc. I spent last year babysitting for a family in Manhattan, so I am comfortable with taking kids around the city and navigating my way through New York. I love babysitting because I love spending time with kids and getting to know them on a personal level, as well as spending time doing fun activities that they enjoy such as arts and crafts, playing on the playground, walking the dog, playing dress-up, etc. I am looking for a full time babysitter/nanny position for the summer (June/July/August), and I am completely flexible during the work week. I am looking to work ideally 30-40 hours during the week. I hope to hear from you soon!
