I began my journey at 17 as a babysitter on the weekends for ladies at my local church. Many had seen my grow up and trusted me with their children. I have watched children from 3 months old to 14 years old sometimes 2-3 children at the same time. I am 23 now and in my years as a sitter I have learned time management, patience and selflessness. Aside from babysitting i also worked a summer as a youth worker in a summer day camp. I have my Mandated reporter certification and am currently looking for classes to be certified in CPR, children’s CPR & First Aid. At the age of 23 i am the mom to a wonderful 2 year old little girl who has taught me a whole new meaning of putting someone else before you and i express that to all children in my care.
