Hello, My name is Dasnye. Ive attended Borough of Manhattan Community College where I studied Human Service for Child Care, which also I am here to offer. Growing up I am the eldest of four and would have to babysit my siblings while my mother worked. Certain tasks that consist of were making sure their hair was done, they were feed, and bathed. Often times when the weather was nice we’ll go to the pool or the sprinklers at the park. For about two years I’ve been employed at a middle school called Hamilton Grande Middle school where I am an Activity Specialist/ Group Leader. The tasks of those positions are supervising the students, creating lesson plans, creative arts, engaging in physical activities (basketball, jumping rope, cooking,etc). Also I am a mentor to a group of young woman at Mosholu Montefiore Community Center and the group is a group that Read more teaches you about growth and how to face certain obstacles when you reach them in order to achieve your future goals. I’ve been a caregiver since I can think of. My future career is to be a social worker for children. I love to interact with children because just like they can learn from me I can learn from them.
