Hello! My name is Aimee. I am currently residing in the Bronx, New York. I was born and raised here. I come from a big family, with me being the eldest one. Since these cousins were younger than me , I was the one in charge of looking after them when we would play on sunny afternoons at the park. I learned I was naturally nurturing. Ultimately, I decided to pursue a career in education. I started working with children with special needs three years ago while pursuing my college degree but I am currently looking for a loving family to work for and children I can develop a strong relationship with. I consider myself a “big sister” figure to any of the children I work with. I want them to know I care about them and I want the best for them. I am a big advocate for children’s Read more literature and I truly believe it is fundamental from a young age to expose them to books. It is imperative for their cognitive development. I saw firsthand how much it helped with children who were delayed or on the autism spectrum. If you choose me to look after your children, they will know “Goodnight Moon” by heart! Lastly, I am certified by the New York State Board of Education as a Teaching Assistant.
