Hello families! My name is Ashley, and I am a recent college graduate at Binghamton University with about 4-5 years of childcare experience in and out of the school system! I hope to find a childcare position in New York City, preferably the Bronx, but I have no problem traveling to other boroughs. Every day, I work to be a trustworthy and responsible person, who is worthy of caring for you and your child! I am quite flexible and adaptable as well, so scheduling should not be much of an issue. As a caregiver with ADHD and experience with several special needs children and family members, I also pride myself in being able to deliver delicate care to any child in need of a bit of extra love! I have about 3-4 years of varying experience working with young children, and I also care for my three younger siblings, including Read more a youth program for young middle school-aged girls, which I help conduct in the Binghamton area called D.I.V.A.S (Dedicated Innovated Versatile Aspiring Sisters). I've worked at a children's summer camp, as a Counselor in Training where I transported children (both by foot, by car/bus, and train), supervised and organized fun, stimulating activities for children, and oversaw children in multiple different areas out on trips such as the museum or the park. I've also worked part-time at an afterschool program in the Bronx area (where I received safety and emergency situation training) and oversaw kindergarteners, as well as children from other varying grade levels. I helped them with their homework, assisted group leaders with learning activities, and ensured the kids always had fun at the end of the day! Along with this experience, I've held numerous babysitting positions with children from the ages of 1 year old to 15 years old which I would be happy to discuss further with you! I am open to implementing any routines and regimes you want to instill for your child while making sure they are not only comfortable but have as much fun as possible.
