My name is Xania. I am a Nursing student with 8 years of childcare experience. I have worked with multiple children, newborn to teenaged. I have cared for children with special needs, such as autism, ADD, and emotional issues as well as pets. I am patient, reliable and responsible, and flexible. I consider the families that I work for to be an extension of my family, therefore it's important to me to develop a good rapport with the entire family. I have a basic understanding of french and spanish. I was an art major in high school and played the piano for 10 years. I like to be active and I think it's especially important for children in order to develop good habits. I'm not a huge fan of the TV, x box, playstation, etc. There is too much to do, and explore in NYC.

Xania babysat for my son, Gabriel, while he was around 2 years old. He definitely had separation anxiety and put up a fight, but Xania was completely calm and rational throughout the storm. Xania is extremely reliable, intelligent, and sweet. Most of all, she's very trustworthy and honest and we felt very comfortable with her. We moved out of state, but otherwise would have loved to have her as our son's sitter!
