Hi! I am a graduate student studying social work and living in Brooklyn, NY. I moved here in August from Washington, D.C. (by the way of Michigan!) where I have received years of experience working with young families and children in agency and school settings. My most recent position was as a Family Support Worker where I fostered healthy development among children, taught at risk families about parenting strategies, and monitored children's progress towards developmental milestones. I have also spent time providing childcare in a domestic violence shelter and as an alternate sitter for Sitters Club DC. As a student, I have a very flexible schedule and can easily accommodate parents. Working with small children is also my passion and I find it to be an absolute blessing to witness and be a part of their development.
