Hello, my name is Barbara. I am a 31-year-old full-time college student. I'm studying child psychology with a minor concentration in social welfare. I'm a loving, responsible, energetic, nanny with 14+ years of experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and teenagers. I do it all! I am responsible for the children's care by fulfilling their dietary needs (preparing healthy foods and bottles), changing diapers, potty training along with indoor and outdoor play. I also prepare small lesson plans for everyday basic "projects" consisting of numbers, letters, shapes and colors and assist the infant in motivating him/her into him/her fundamental motivational skills (joint movement, crawling, walking, etc). There is also a lot of singing and story time. Prior to becoming a nanny a was an Assistant Teacher at a day care where I also cared for children between the ages of 3 months and three years of age. I am a Certified Child care Provider and have completed a health and safety training. I am also infant CPR Certified and have been finger printed by the NYS Department of Health.
