Hello! My name is Suzanne, I am 27 years old and currently working at a foster care agency. I work full time so I'm not available during week days but I would love to find families who need a date night/weekend sitter. I started babysitting at 13 and spent my summers during college as a nanny. After college I worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Rwanda where I taught middle school English and organized activities and events at a local orphanage. I love children and have experience with all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I'm very engaged as a sitter and enjoy reading with children and encourage creativity and interactive play. I recently moved to Brooklyn from Colorado so I'm looking for new families and would be happy to provide references from previous employers. Babysitters just don't come better than Suzanne. She's caring, deeply kind, patient, loving, not a pushover with our bully of a 3.5 year old, responsible, very intelligent. She doesn't leave a mess, isn't afraid of hard work. Babysitting is her second job, but she doesn't treat it like one. I could go on! We love that she really plays well with our son, that she engages emotionally and intellectually through games and books. Transitions are never easy, but Suzi makes them look like they are. We've had about four or five babysitters in all -- admittedly, not many. But Suzi is without a doubt the best we've come across. She is a genuinely good person, a genuine person. We recommend her wholeheartedly.
