Hello and Welcome to All! Thank you for viewing my profile. I'm currently a full-time paraprofessional for the NYC DOE, working in Brooklyn, with a true passion for education, literature, art, and the outdoors! I'd be of great help with academic work, home life, and all the little things in between. Safety is a top priority for me, and for this reason, I am fully vaccinated and COVID safe. I'm also certified in Infant & Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED. I've taken various classes and workshops on social-emotional teaching and development. I have 10 years of paid experience working for wonderful families, for ACS, the DOE, and as a DSP for older folks as well. I'm a dedicated, caring, and very patient individual, able to learn from everyone and everything. I can also provide materials for some activities such as face painting, playing chess, bead/jewelry making, games, story creating Read more and telling, etc. My current availability is very flexible. I am more than happy and able to provide references, as well as set up a phone call/meet. Thank you for your consideration! Have a great day. Alexandra C.

Alexandra is amazing! My toddler doesn't generally warm to new people quickly, but he gravitated to her. I can also be a tough critic and Alexandra is fantastic all the way around. Trustworthy, warm, smart, kind, the right amount of structure in her approach and able to adapt to my son's needs with ease. I HIGHLY recommend her!
