Hello there! My name is Sherone and I would love to be considered for this position I am responsible, reliable, and a cheerful person with excellent experience with kids ranging from Newborn to pre teens However, newborns and infants are my speciality. I am a Certified Newborn/infant Care Specialist. I am trained in Infant CPR, Sleep training, and caring for multiples and other skills necessary to care for newborns/infants which is why I believe I would be the perfect Candidate for this Position. I simply love children and I love being a nanny. It is always a great joy to experience the amazing development of children. From the newborn who cries to communicate their needs, to toddlers who adoringly mispronounced words while learning to speak, to school aged kids who now entertain me me with stories of their school experience and activities. My most resent job I had the great Read more pleasure of caring for a fantastic little 3 year old girl whom I cared for since she was an infant, then came her baby brother and again I had the opportunity to care for him also he is now a year old. Sadly my time with this amazing family had to come to an end due to the most unfortunate circumstances many are facing in these trying times. However I am now looking for a new venture. While caring for the them, we took a lot of classes such as music, gym and Gymboree which they really enjoyed. I think those classes are very important for sensory stimulation and to see them interact with other kids their age was always fun for me. My other duties included -making and maintaining a feeding and napping schedule -preparing their meals -keeping them entertained and stimulated by taking regular walks to the park, play dates, reading to them,singing to them. -also maintaining a safe environment at all times. I take the safety of my kids very seriously. I only allow authorized persons near them, always supervised baths,. etc I believe the role of a childcare provider is extremely important since children are very impressionable in their tender ages. In Essence, I'm pursuing further employment to continue doing what I love and to expand my experience. I come from family of nannies. My Grandmother, Mother, Aunts and Cousins are all nannies. Needless to say being a nanny is second nature to me. I would love to chat with you to further discuss my experience.
