Social work trained babysitter and your child's new BFF! I have my LMSW and work part-time providing therapy for kids and their caregivers at the Children's Crisis Treatment Center. I love to integrate my academic understanding of young people with my ability to have fun, laugh, and play with kids. My favorite thing about kids is their willingness to be silly--something I think that adults could learn to embrace, as well : ) I definitely am not the kind of sitter who depends on the TV or iPad to engage kids. I love to incorporate theater, games, stories, arts and crafts, and creative expression into my work with kids. I definitely tailor my sitting style to the children I'm working with and have a great natural connection with young people.
