Meet Rachel

  • Comfortable with pets

Hi! My name is Rachel. I am currently a full-time nanny to an amazing family on the Upper West Side. They have left town for a few weeks due to the virus issues so I’m looking to supliment with some nannying/babysitting jobs in the meantime. I have been social distancing, am using a bike for transportation and am very healthy. I have 10+ years of nannying/babysitting experience. I'm trained in educational development and special needs development. I work with kids that are dealing with ADHD and learning issues. I am very energetic and flexible with my time. I have great references and a really happy attitude. Thank you for your consideration! :)

Our family has had the pleasure of having Rachel as our nanny while our regular nanny was out of the country for 3 months. Rachel is extremely dependable, great with kids (ages 3 and 6), and very flexible with hours. She was always punctual and willing to accommodate our work schedules (I am a doctor and often work nights and weekends). Rachel helped our older child with homework, and our younger child learn her letters and numbers. She often took the kids to the playground and for adventures in Central Park. She was outstanding with taking care of them when they were sick. And she's a great cook! We highly recommend her without reservations.
