I am a UC Berkeley, George Washington University, and Columbia University alumna, where I earned a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology, a Master in Public Health, and a Master of Science in Nursing, respectfully. I have over 6 years of childcare experience, including mentoring at a Berkeley elementary school through the disabled students program. I have held three full-time nannying positions, for children between the ages of 8 months-2 years old. One nannying position was a nanny-share in which I was responsible for the care of 2 infants that grew into toddlers. In my roles, I became a part of the family and had an absolute pleasure watching the children grow up and explore the world! Having graduated nursing school, I hold a wealth of healthcare knowledge and feel confident in handling any medical issues, either chronic or acute. I spent the past summer on a NICU unit and Read more am fully comfortable caring for newborns with a variety of health conditions. I have experience with diaper changing, bottle feeding, preparing meals/snacks, and naptime, bathtime, and bedtime routines. I have organized activities such as museum trips, library storytime hours, and at-home developmentally-appropriate arts and crafts activities. I am also comfortable with all pets, and can help out with light housework or errands. My favorite things to do while nannying are to go out for a walk in the park, or read aloud together at home. I do not have a driver’s license, but I was born and raised in NYC and know the transit system very well if needed to get around. I can provide references upon request! I am currently looking for part- to full-time babysitting/nannying as I study for the NCLEX and begin searching for a full-time nursing job. I anticipate I will have open availability until December.
