Hello! I am Shanna and I am a current college student. I am majoring in Business administration, along with a minor in pediatric nursing. I have also completed courses in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, I am certified in all. I have been watching after children since the age of 7, starting off with my 3 younger sibling. This transpired into me watching children for other families. I have experience with children from 2 weeks up to 16 years old, also watching 4 kids at a time. I have planned parties for families and also, social gatherings for the parents of children I took care of. I am an extremely creative, organized and adventurous sitter. As it starts to get cold out, children hate staying inside (if I was a kid I would hate inside to: ( ). This is the time to hit the museums, holiday shows, Dave and Read more busters etc. (If the parent/s permit this). If you have a more conservative child, inside playing games, painting pics for mom and dad and shape threading should do the trick. I also believe reading is fundamental. I am an intense reader and believe kids should be as well. Along with the fun, comes some reading and homework time…no exceptions (sorry kiddo). If you child is still an infant, comfort is the most important thing as well as being in a safe environment. If I feel the environment isn’t safe, I will not be able to watch your child/children. No hard feelings but above everything safety is the most important. I hope I am a perfect match for your family and I hope we will get to converse further… you won’t regret it!
