Hello, my name is Yaslynn Rivera. I recently graduated Emerson College, majoring in Visual Media Arts Production, specializing in Film and Television Producing. I have recently moved back to the East Coast from Los Angeles. There I was an intern at a developmental company and I acted as the assistant to the company. My first job was working as a party hostess at Chuck E. Cheese. There I was in charge of handling Birthday parties, usually averaging of about 15 kids. I would help the parents by making the experience disaster free, and if something did go wrong, it was my responsibility to make sure the parent and child left the facility happy. I would also gain a personal relationship with each birthday child, to make sure they were having an amazing time. I would have around 3 birthday parties a day and rotated around 9 children a week. I Read more have helped a diverse array of kids and am no stranger on how to make quick and competent decisions in a plethora of situations. I was also one of the top party host's and was asked to be a trainer. Other experiences include working in restaurants and helping serve families. It is always my job to make sure that families enjoy their time together. I also have also babysitted three of my extremely active little cousins for years. Working in an office environment as an assistant has helped me gain skills such as time management, answering phone calls courteously, and help schedule events.
