Hi! My name's Ricky, I'm currently an actor living in New York City. I got my degree in Musical Theater from the University at Buffalo. I've had a lot of experience teaching and working with kids, starting with 4 years experience working at the University at Buffalo Child Care Center. I mainly worked as a teacher to the Preschool and Pre-K rooms (ages 3-5), and also the toddler rooms (ages 1-2). I've had experience working in children's summer theater camps, with those ages ranging anywhere from 6 to 15. My senior year of college I took a Music Education Practices class, which basically involved teaching kids ages 2-5 different songs and movements. I incorporated music a lot with my kids at UBCC, which I find kids (especially younger ages) really respond well to. I also love to stay active, and am a black belt in karate! I was a very Read more active kid myself, so I know how much all kids appreciate someone who will run around with them and not get tired. I've played many long games of tag and hide and go seek with my day care kids! Overall, between teaching at a daycare, teaching music classes, and babysitting kids in my spare time, I've truly found it over anything else to be one of the most rewarding jobs. I can't wait to fall in love and build a relationship with whoever I'm looking after. I have very flexible hours, so I'm pretty much open to anything. Thanks :)
