Hello! My name is Miranda, I’m a 25 year old from Sullivan County, NY. I moved to Brooklyn a little over 4 years ago and wow has it been the most rewarding experience of my life! Working with children is something I knew I wanted to when I was a child myself. I’m so empathetic it sometimes hurt. I am always trying to care and nurture others all while trying influence a positive and lively lifestyle. I started babysitting when I was 13 but took a giant role in raising my little cousins starting when I was only 6. Since I’ve lived in the city I’ve been a daycare teacher , daycare teachers assistant, a babysitter, a nanny and most importantly a DSP. I am always looking for new families/clients. College isn’t something that’s out of the question for me as I am always open to learning new things and taking on new challenges. Just with the life I’ve been granted college had to take a backseat and working full time and supporting myself mentally and financially since I was 17 has been what’s most important to me. I have SO much energy , I am loud and I love to run around and be active! Dance parties, playing in the park , going for jogs, doing yoga, rollerblading; I love it all! On the other hand I also love to cuddle up with my switch and play video games for hours at a time. I’m very versatile and love to switch things up. When it comes to animals , I say the more the merrier! (Seriously!) I LOVE animals, my roomate and I have 3 cats ourselves and back home I have 2 tortoises. I don’t mind cleaning up after animals t taking care of them. I also don’t mind doing light house work at all! All you have to do is ask! I have all the necessary qualifications to work in a daycare , including DOH fingerprints. Am more than happy to oblige for any background checks and what not! I also have all the necessary qualifications to work with children with Special needs. I currently work with an agency called Hand in Hand. I could go on forever about how much I love working with kids and how much I love to talk and talk about cats and Pokémon but I’d really love to hear from you!
