I became a caregiver because the skills necessary for the job are natural to me. My upbringing has made me sensitive and empathetic towards others, making caregiving important to me and part of who I am. Most of my experience comes from teaching children swimming from the young age of 15. Over 10 years later I've now worked for numerous child programs, camps, and in schools as a coach. I have worked with infants to teenagers, children across the spectrum, and children who are high achieving and live a competitive lifestyle. I also worked for a child care agency that cared for foster children and supported the foster parents as well. After studying developmental psychology in college, I would love to get more experience in what I love to do: help guide children and watch them grow into great people; while I continue to study psychology. In addition to caring Read more for children, I have two dogs of my own and love all animals. I also enjoy helping the elderly and I have a "roll up sleeves mentality".
