Hi, my name is Phoebe. I am a senior undergraduate student at Brooklyn College studying Communications and Psychology. I am a musician (trained vocalist and songwriter), and I love to cook. I am fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19, and I am trained in infant and child CPR. Having grown up in a large family, I have been taking care of infants and children for as long as I can remember, and have worked as a childcare provider my entire adult life. Most of my paid experience has consisted of caring for multiple children at once, while also helping to maintain the household by assisting with laundry, meal preparation/cooking, and keeping spaces clean and tidy. I am currently nannying for a 6 month old baby on weekdays, and I provide as-needed sitting for several clients with infants and toddlers, including newborn care. My prior positions include full-time nannying for an Read more 8 month old until she was about 2, and a toddler from 15 months until he was about 19 months old. For both of these children, I was their first non-family caregiver. I have also worked with a family with children (ages 18, 16, 14, 9) for the last 5 years. I am currently looking for temporary work while the family I nanny for is away September 11-29. My date night availability on weekdays is typically a 6pm start time. I appreciate at least 1 week’s notice for weekdays, if possible. On weekends I am flexible, and often available last-minute! I have cared for children of ages ranging from infancy to early teen years, and have helped support developmental milestones and skills such as potty training, reading, and homework. Some of my favorite activities to do with children are reading, drawing/coloring, and playing/listening to music! Music is my passion, and I love to share it with them if they are interested and excited about it too.
