I have babysat consistently for many families starting when I was 13 years old. This past year I became a part time nanny for a family of three children ages 7-10 for about 7 months. I was responsible for picking them up from school, then playing and studying with them. I cooked dinner and got them ready for bed nightly. Since September, I have been an AuPair in Spain, so I was basically a full time live-in nanny for two girls. Both experiences were more than jobs to me. Not only do I have the ability to positively influence my kids lives and bring fun into them but they do the same to me. I remember my nannies and babysitters as a kid were some of my favorite people. I listened to them, learned from them and loved them. That’s what I am and try to be.
