Hi, hope you all are well. I am currently in search for a new family to work and build with. I have been working as a nanny for over 10 years now, mostly focused on infancy care. I can provide references as needed. I'm well versed in infant developmental care. I am certified in pediatric first aid/CPR, SIDS and fully vaccinated.I enjoy working along with parents when it comes to their approach on childcare. Guiding them through their infants milestones (developmental & cognitive stages) while keeping in mind that every child is unique and will go through their own process of learning and understanding . I usually help parents build schedules that work for their infant and around the schedule that is already set in place before I walk in for a smooth transition. The schedule isn't anything strict, it serves more as an activity log for us(parents and nanny) Read more to better understand the infants daily activities and can help infant understand routine which can ease their developmental challenges. It can also be useful to track their feed/bowel movements incase of any upcoming health concerns. The log will usually track feeding (how much they’ve fed with me for the day), naps, activity time I.e tummy time, and diaper changes.I also help curate fun activities based on their milestone (gross motor, fine motor, cognitive, self care, social skills etc). As well as researching to find appropriate programs/classes in your neighborhood, I have attended many infant/toddler programs so I am able to narrow down to some of the best NYC has to offer. Self expression and sense of independence/self care will always be encouraged. One of my favorite activities to do with them is reading, I enjoy really getting into character and allowing them to read along. Holding conversations with them is something I will do everyday. Safe outdoor walks and play is a great way to explore their curiosity as well. I strongly believe that communication is key as we will be working as a team and I will only go as far as what the parents are comfortable with and open to. Any and all actions regarding the infant/toddler will be discussed with the parents beforehand. I don't mind light house keeping and meal prepping as long as its for the child. I am a pretty organized person myself, and tend to keep tidy of my surroundings. If you have any more questions for me please feel free to ask and I look forward to your response!
