I've been a camp counselor from ages 16-19 and a division leader at World of Discovery Day Camp from ages 20-21. During my undergrad, I worked as a tutor for one year and an after school counselor the next. I've worked at a day care one summer where we did activities with children as young as two. For the past three years, I was a special educator at Spring Creek Community School, a high school in Brooklyn. It makes me smile to see little kids bond with their care takers. My grandmother was a nanny decades ago. Her "baby" is now 32 years old and they still communicate with one another. My past experiences will make this job a breeze, especially due to my nurturing, kind-hearted nature.
