Hello! My name is Al, I am 22 years old and I am a fully vaccinated babysitter. I have been babysitting in NYC for over 2 years but I have been working with children for over 7 years. I was hired by a wonderful Brooklyn family back in February of 2021 and have been with them since. When I first got hired the kids were 3 and 5 (the youngest I have watched is 2). My original duties were to entertain the 3 year old while helping the 5 year old through online school. As schools opened up my responsibilities shifted to pick ups and taking them to and from after school activities. On off days we would spend lots of time at libraries, parks, and museums. Through this job I met many other families and have become a backup sitter for almost all of them. Before I lived in Read more the city I had various babysitting jobs in my home town and worked at multiple after school and summer camps. I am someone who understand all the necessary steps caretakers need to accomplish to make sure their child is safe, especially in a city like New York. Safety is my number one priority but giving my kids the support and space to grow in their confidence and life abilities is a close second.
