I am currently a graduate student at NYU and have grown up in NYC. I spent 6 summers coaching children ages 5-16 how to sail in Nantucket where I learned how to create fun and engaging lessons while ensuring safety on the water. I have also spent 2 summers in Nantucket nannying for a family with 2 children under 5 years old. During those summers I also babysat families at night with children ranging from 9 months to 13 years old. Before graduate school, I spent two years as an elementary homeroom teacher in Brooklyn. I also received a Masters of Arts in Teaching with a focus in elementary education. I love spending time with children of all ages and creating a fun and warm environment so that children are comfortable and have a good time.
