*Available for bookings, on call, last minute, and temp jobs, for Summer, June-August Hello everyone, I’m looking to have flexibility for the summer months on call, and am available to help on days I’m not already booked! At the moment I am booked for 6/2-6/6, 6/9-6/14 and 6/18-6/24 so unavailable for those dates. I’ve recently done several on call jobs in May, filling in for families with last minute needs from this site, and also from word of mouth in the Park Slope community, where I’ve worked happily for several years. I grew up on the UWS in Manhattan and in my formative years, went to Walden school, now known as Trevor Day. I’m always punctual, have an unparalleled joy for life, 24 years of experience, and excellent references! In fact they’d all love to speak with you on my behalf, including my 2 recent families I’ve worked for in Read more Park Slope a sweet baby in the morning, and 2 primary school children afterschool for the last 3 years. I still see them on occasion for weekend or date nights. I currently live in Sunset Park next to Green-Wood, by 36th St Subway station & D, N, R trains. I have many years experience with babies, toddlers, and grade school children as well. I’ve also cared for several sets of twins! I love listening, teaching, and explaining things. I'm also a (fun & effective) reading and spelling teacher/tutor for children 3-6, I'm well traveled, (mostly all Europe) speak Italian, went to Fiorello LaGuardia as an art major, am a singer, mostly 1930’s-1940’s jazz, Ella Fitzgerald’s “I Can’t Give You Anything but Love Baby” is a favorite of the many babies & toddlers I’ve cared for over the years.
