I am the oldest of 5 children and adore my siblings more than anything in the world. They're the reason I moved back to Buffalo after college- I was missing too many baseball games and cheer competitions! Due to our age difference, I was privileged enough to help my parents raise the my siblings, especially the 3 youngest ones. Current my sisters are 22 and 9, while my brothers are 14 and 9. I originally began my college career majoring in Education before transferring into the American Sign Language Interpretation program at RIT. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings there and it really made me realize how much I missed caring for children. During my time at RIT I also spent a semester caring for 3 children 2 days a week ranging from Kindergarten to Middle School. In the past I have worked Read more as a Camp Counselor and cared for children age 6-18 years old for a week at a time. I have also worked as a Youth Ministry Specialist and worked closely with a team of high schoolers to plan and run monthly events, as well as assisted with confirmation class for middle schools, and personally hosted events and gatherings for children and families of all age ranges. Currently I babysit a few of my friends' children (newborn-5 years old), still spend plenty of time with my siblings, and help out with my cousins' children as needed as well! I have always loved encouraging children to grow, learn, and of course have fun and I would love to the same with your child(ren)! Fun facts about me: I love animals, Halloween is my favorite holiday, I collect monopolies, and I play roller derby!
