HELLO 👋 my name is Tammy and I live in South Buffalo. I'm married for over 20 years and I have 2 cats and a dog. While babies never happened for us, I come from such a large family there was no shortage of babies. I personally started babysitting in my neighborhood at 12 years old but, 6 for my sister. I took great care of her and then I got another brother when I was 9 and I was hooked. I was officially Mommy's helper. Over the years I have had the chance to babysit a lot of great kids and a chance to be a nanny to a few more. My current role is providing Nanny services M-Th from 3-6pm to a family with 2 children ages 17 and 13. I pick the younger one up from school daily and take him to all his activities during the Read more week. I also provide light house keeping and meals. I'm very flexible with my schedule as I also provide cat sitting and accommodate last minute changes with ease. I am very passionate about early childhood learning. I love playing games and watching children figure out the world in real time. I can handle childhood anger as well as soothe frustrations and explain things in a way that age appropriate children will understand. Rules are Rules when it comes to the Parents though. They are not to be bent or ignored. I believe in the continuity of care If you choose to leave your child/ children in my care, please understand that I have the skills and training necessary to do the job. I have experience in sleep training, potty training, pacifier removal, bottle switching, feeding, changing, bathing, play time, reduced screen time, homework, pre-school practice education, sight words, flashcards, creative play, imaginative play, sensory play and I specialize in GOING OUTSIDE. I have my own car. I drive a 2019 Infinity QX50. I have a clean driving history and the ability to install 2 car seats safely in the back and a booster in the middle. I do not let children ride in the front seat. I would enjoy the opportunity to connect with some new families who may need some flexible, reliable help to meet their busy needs.
