Hello! My name is Faith Strachan. I'm a 20 year old child psychology student. While I do have many years of baby sitting experience, most of my time taking care of children has come from spending a lot of time with my niece and nephew. They are 6 and 2. I have many animals including horses, pigs, dogs, cats, a rat, and an axolotl. I love children and helping them grow in anyway possible. I adopt a principle of mutual respect and respectful teaching. This means I often opt to help children work through their emotions and explain themselves rather than jump to punishments like time outs, hitting, or yelling. I believe that children learn best through nature and love to get outside and get dirty with the kiddos. While I can promise they will have fun making mud pies outside, I also promise to throw in the load of Read more dirty clothes afterword. I always look to leave a place as clean as I found it.
