Hello! My name is Madison. I am passionate about both childcare and teaching, which is why I’m offering my services as a caregiver and / or French tutor this upcoming summer. I would love to create a fun, safe, and enriching environment where children feel comfortable to express themselves and can thrive! I am 23 years old and hold a Bachelor's degree in Art History and French. I am fluent in both French and English. I have a clean driving record and a car that I am happy to use for the job if needed. Currently, I am working as a teaching assistant in France, where I help students aged 11 to 18 learn English. When I’m on Long Island, I also assist as a part-time caregiver for my grandparents. As a teacher and caregiver, I strive to highlight each child’s unique strengths, meet their individual needs, and celebrate their individuality. I believe that every child learns differently, and I work hard to adapt lessons and activities to create an empowering environment. I have also cared for individuals of all ages, from infants to seniors, since 2016. My past roles have included positions in tourism and education, where I was responsible for managing groups, ensuring safety, and providing educational talks and tours. For example, in 2016, I worked for the Long Island Aquarium as part of their education department, where I led the aftercare program for the “Children’s Summer Adventure Day Camp,” communicating with parents and supervising the children until they were picked up.
