Hello! I am a recent MA graduate from Teachers College Columbia University and I am currently interested in baby-sitting jobs until I move to Minneapolis in mid-June for a PhD program. For the past four years, I have worked in the fields of academic research and education. Given my personal and professional experiences in parochial, private independent, and public schools, I am very skilled in working with children from a variety of backgrounds, especially with schoolwork (i.e. homework help, tutoring, etc.). For two years, I worked in public schools as an AmeriCorps volunteer to tutor and mentor 9th and 7th graders during and after the school day. During my Masters programs, I also taught rising 6th graders during the summers. Aside from my professional experiences, I also come from a large family and have often babysat for babies and toddlers.
