Hey there! I am a graduate student currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Development from Humboldt State University in California. Working with children is truly my passion, and I bring experience, patience, a bubbly personality, and genuine care to every child I work with. Over the years, I’ve served as an Early Intervention preschool teacher, a Special Education teacher for youth in grades K–12, and most recently as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for children and teens ages 3–20, all of whom had experienced trauma and faced behavioral and/or mental health challenges. These roles have deepened my commitment to individualized, compassionate care and taught me the importance of meeting each child where they are, emotionally and developmentally. In addition to my professional background, I’m experienced in preparing meals and snacks, potty training, creating Read more engaging and age-appropriate activities, helping with schoolwork, providing safe transportation, following structured routines, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. I’ve also completed multiple CPR and First Aid trainings and always prioritize the safety and well-being of the children in my care.
