I am one of the oldest girls of a family of seven siblings! I grew up with many children in my home and have years of caregiving experience. Changing diapers my mother ran a daycare out of our home for many years, and I learned even more from her., teaching children to feed and cloth themselves, home work help, bedtime routines and constant supervision comes naturally to me. I find that children love hands on activities, so I try to do arts and crafts whenever possible. Cooking is another fun activity, if age appropriate. And of course reading books. I was trained in CPR in high school, although my certification recently expired. I am, however, confident providing CPR.
