Hello, and thank you for considering me to care for your children! My name is Brittany, but I often go by "Brit". I am originally from Huntington, NY, but currently reside in South Setauket, NY. I have over a decade of experience in childcare, including newborns to middle-school-age. I have experience working with children with an array of mental and physical disabilities. I also have experience working with twins as well as four or more children at once. I have worked in healthcare as a medical assistant for over 5 years in the fields of neurology, dermatology, and primary care. My medical background has allowed me to obtain my BLS certification, which included AED training, CPR training, and the Heimlich maneuver. My last certification included modified methods for infants, small children, and the elderly, which I will be renewing within the next few months. I am currently a Health Information Read more Technology Student and take fully remote and asynchronous classes. I have my license and a reliable vehicle. My current availabilities include evenings, weekends, and some mornings/weekdays. I am open to working with children of all different ages, needs, and backgrounds.
