A little about me and my own family: I am a single mom of 2 wonderful grown children and “young” grandma a beautiful 3 1/2 yr old grandson and 1 1/2 yr old granddaughter that I babysit for as often as I’m needed. My daughter graduated from Binghamton University, later received her masters degree and is now a pre-k teacher waiting for an opening as a teacher. My son has been an NYPD detective going on 9 years now.I had worked at the same job for 30+ years in a nursing facility working in their dementia/Alzheimers unit. The job took great patience, understanding, caring, kindness, being a good listener, as well as being reliable and responsible. I always had babysitting jobs on the side as well as my regular job, but when I left my job 5 years ago, shortly thereafter I fell into a great nannying job and watched Read more the cutest little 4 year old (starting at age 1 until 4 1/2) full time as well as help get her 7&9 yr old brothers off to school and absolutely loved it until she went off to kindergarten 2 yrs ago and I was no longer needed. It was the most rewarding job and I loved going everyday! We had so much fun and adventures together! I’d take her on library trips, the park, beach, animal farm, etc and as well as just playing together. I still see her and her family often as possible as we became like family over the years. I am extremely reliable, responsible and trustworthy. I would take care of your child/children as if they were my own. I can provide excellent references so as to ensure your peace of mind and child’s safety and well-being in my care.
