I became a care giver because of my love for the children and their need to succeed and be treated with the respect that they are learning and we the family and community are their teachers and we are their role models so the more i involve my self in a child's life the better person that child becomes. I have always took care of the children younger than myself i come from a family of twelve siblings. I babysat as a young girl from the time I was probably 12 or thirteen right up to even now, worked at a day care center, worked everyday in the classrooms well my children were school aged , I volunteered when possible for their sports teams, when I was working full time as a Head start teacher i got my cpr for children and adults and first aid cirtificates . The dates Read more are expired but i still know all the emergency procedures. went to school for early childhood education while working for 15 years also went through many different training programs.
