Hi my name is Cindy. I want to let you know your child will be in good hands with me. I have had 40 years of experience including those with special needs. I have my Masters of Science in literacy education. My undergrad is in elementary and special education. I had thought semi retiring is what I wanted to do but instead I just downsized. Recently completed a part time job at Foundations preschool working with 4-5 years old. Prior to that i was an exclusive babysitter for 2 families. One had a newborn and the other had a child with Aspergers. While I was doing this I also worked for Crane Homecare providing companionship for our seniors in their homes. Before I decided to semi-retire, I was an exclusive sub for Frontier school district for 16 years. I had many long term positions in all areas of education. I Read more never took on a full time position because I was privileged to be a mom. My job is complete because he is now a 25 year old graduate and very successful. I have also worked for 17 years with the Town of Eden recreation where I was a co leader at our main playground which saw up to an average of 150 children per day for our 6 week program. Prior to teaching I managed a community residence for People Inc. For 10 years. I have also worked for other agencies orovidind recreational and habilitational skills for disabled adults. I have been on the Eden emergency squad for 34 years with extensive first aid, rescue and cpr skills. I recently lost my Emt certification but hope to recertify in next years class. I love all animals except snakes. Snakes are a true phobia so I would be unable to come to your residence if you housed one in common area, I have been background and drug tested in the past with 0 problems.
