Before working in the school setting, I spent several summers at my local day camp, where I worked my way up from counselor to Behavior Director. In that role, I supported campers with behavioral needs, collaborated with staff and families, helped implement behavior strategies, and worked to ensure every child had a safe, positive, and successful camp experience. In addition to my work in education, I have babysat for numerous families with children of all ages. Whether we’re playing outside, doing crafts, reading stories, helping with homework, or following bedtime routines, I strive to create a fun, engaging, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and cared for. I understand that every child is unique, and I take the time to learn each child’s personality, interests, and routines. My goal is to build trusting relationships with both children and parents by being patient, dependable, and attentive while creating meaningful experiences for the children in my care.
