I am a mother of three grown children. Two girls one is a New York State Special Education teacher and a boy. I have been a certified teaching assistant for the past 13 years in New York State. As part of my job at Dodd Middle School in Freeport I work with 7 & 8 grade students. Sometimes my job requires me to work with students who have different types of disabilities such as ADHD or autism. As a teaching assistant I enjoy my job and am very compassionate. Helping students and showing them they can do it is something very special. I also have babysat younger children for friends and relatives and enjoy watching and helping children of all ages.
