Hello, it is very nice to meet you! I’m a mother of one autistic son (now 26) and have also played a large role in my mother’s life, who is a traumatic brain injury patient, paralyzed and wheelchair bound. I am well versed with special/extenuating circumstances and know how to handle them well and calmly. Having said that, I love children! Besides working with/teaching them in church it has been a while since I’ve done one on one jobs, but I am looking forward to it! My past employer of 23 years, AT&T has closed its doors and I’m now looking for a more fulfilling, meaningful job! I could not think of a better one than taking care of a child and being part of their care! I have two dogs of my own (my kitty recently passed) so I am used to and comfortable around pets.
