My husband and I are in the process of becoming adoptive parents and each trying to earn a little extra cash on top of our regular jobs. I am certified in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard. I did a lot of babysitting when I was a teenager, for children ranging ages 8 months - 12 years of age. I worked at several camps as a counselor, lifeguard and aquatics director. I spent a few years working for BOCES as a teaching aide for children with emotional and behavioral disorders. I worked for 15 years at the YMCA as Aquatics Director where I work with people of all ages and some with special needs. I have had quite a bit of experience through both the YMCA and BOCES working with children with autism.
