Hello, my name is Corrin I am a sophomore at the University at Buffalo studying biomedical engineering. A little bit about my experience, I love children and have been babysitting my neighbors and family friends for 6-7 years. I have constantly been with two families but now the children are all grown up and don’t need a babysitter. This was really cool to watch them grow up from changing their diapers to helping them learn multiplication to them being old enough to watch themselves. When I first started it was an infant and a 7 year old. I was their summer babysitter working almost everyday. I would work around 8 hours a day. I was their babysitter for 6ish years on and off. The other children were my neighbors and I babysat them for around 5 years. There were two children, 5 and 7. Both families had a dog, that Read more was no issue. When I babysit I like to keep the kids super busy (and off electronics as best as possible). I would bring a bag full of toys and activities and crafts to do. I also would plan fun creative things like slip n slides, creating a chalk village on the driveway, making things like slime. I can also cook whatever the meals needed are for the children . I’m current living in an apartment for school and have definitely learned how to cook some meals besides the college favorites meal, ramen noodle. A little bit about me, I went to Victor Central Schools, I was a cheerleader for 7 years and very involved in the community. Currently I am in a bunch of medical clubs at UB, including a premed honor society. Also I have taken the Basic Life Support class and have my certificate. I have worked other retail jobs at Dunkin‘ Donuts and Kohls’s but babysitting has always been my favorite job. I think it’s super fun and rewarding to work with children!
